Carlos Ghosn left the Tokyo Detention House amid overcast weather, climbed into a vehicle and was whisked away. Television footage showed Ghosn wearing a surgical mask, a blue baseball cap and workman's clothes as a swarm of guards led him to an awaiting Suzuki minicar.
