After President Trump lashed out at the company, as well as Ford, to ramp up output of the devices to help treat COVID-19 patients, GM and partner Ventec said they will be able to build more than 10,000 ventilators a month, depending on government needs, at an Indiana plant. Trump said Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar would determine the number of ventilators GM must produce.
